"כפר סבא אוהבת חיות " הינה עמותה עירונית רשומה אשר נוסדה בשנת 2004. את העמותה הקימה קבוצה של תושבי העיר, אוהבי בעלי חיים ואיכות הסביבה, אשר התאגדו לפעול למתן מענה מקצועי לצורכי העיר ופניות התושבים בנושא בעלי החיים.
העמותה פועלת בשיתוף מקצועי עם ה"אגף לאיכות הסביבה" והשירותים הוטרינריים של העירייה, ומקדמת את יישום הדרכים ההומאניות והמודרניות ביותר בעולם בתחום הטיפול בחיות המחמד והחצר. אנו דוגלים בעיקור וסירוס חתולי חצר, על מנת לצמצם את האוכלוסייה החיה ברחובות, למניעת התופעות הנלוות לריבוי בלתי מבוקר של חתולי רחוב בשטחים ציבוריים ופרטיים, ובעיקור וסירוס כלבים לצמצום מספר הכלבים הנטושים וחסרי הבית.

העמותה נותנת סיוע ויעוץ במגוון רחב של נושאים :
• חילוץ והצלת בעלי חיים פצועים ובמצבי מצוקה
• טיפול רפואי לחיות רחוב
• לכידת חתולי רחוב וחצר לצורכי עיקור וסורס
• שירותי יעוץ והדרכה לכלל התושבים בנושא הטיפול בבעלי חיים
• מציאת בתים מאמצים ואוהבים לבעלי חיים נטושים וגורים
• הדרכה לתחזוקה נכונה של נקודות האכלת חתולים
• חינוך הציבור והנוער לכיבוד בכלי החיים, למניעת התעללות ולשמירה על חוק צער בעלי חיים.
העמותה, בשיתוף עם העירייה, מקיימת מבצעי עיקור /סירוס וחיסון נגד כלבת של אלפי חתולי רחוב וחצר בכל רחבי העיר, בדגש על מרכזים ציבוריים כגון בית חולים "מאיר", קניון ערים, היכל התרבות, מוסדות החינוך, דיור מוגן, השוק העירוני ועוד. העמותה ייסדה ומפעילה את נבחרת "מטיילים עם כלבים". קבוצת מתנדבים המטפלת ומוציאה את הכלבים השוהים בכלביה לטיולים קצרים ומעניקה להם תשומת לב, יד מלטפת ואהבה.
מרפאת הבית, בה נעזרת העמותה למתן טיפול רפואי לחתולי הרחוב הינה "פט-חולים" בבכפר סבא ,

Kefar Saba Loves Animals" is a registered non-profit organization founded in 2004. The organization was established by a group of residents who came together as a response to appeals from city residents, to provide professional care for abandoned/homeless animals and the environment.
The organization works in conjunction with the municipality's Environment and Veterinary Services, promoting the most modern, humane methods for handling stray animals and pets. We advocate spaying and neutering of stray and feral cats to reduce the population living on the street, prevent the reproduction of feral cats in public and private areas, as well as neutering of dogs to reduce the number of abandoned and homeless pets.
The organization provides assistance and consulting for a wide range of topics:
• Rescue of injured animals and animals in distress.
• Medical care for stray cats and homeless/abandoned dogs.
• Capturing of feral/stray cats for neutering and sterilization.
• Consulting for residents regarding treatment of animals.
• Finding loving homes for abandoned/homeless dogs and cats.
• Training and maintenance of proper feeding points for feral/stray cats.
• Education of the public and youth in respect for animals, prevention of abuse, and promotion of animal protection laws.
The organization, in cooperation with the municipality, performs sterilization and neutering, and provides rabies vaccinations to thousands of stray cats throughout the city, with an emphasis on public centers such as Meir Hospital, Kefar Saba Mall, the city's cultural center, educational institutions, and the city market place. In addition, the organization has established a group of volunteers who walk dogs in the municipal shelter, give them love and attention, and increase their chances for adoption.
